The Library has public computers in the adult reference area on the first floor and in the Avon History Room. All have library catalogs, high speed access to the Internet, online databases, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). Documents may be saved to diskettes or flash drives, but no downloading is permitted. Network printers are available for printouts at $.15 cents per page.
Call Reference at 860-673-9712 to reserve a computer or for more information.
For users with their own laptop computers, access is available at all locations throughout the library and outside at the benches and picnic table. For more information on wireless access, click here.
If you need help using library catalogs or online databases, please don’t hesitate to ask the reference librarians for assistance at any time.
