This series is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Avon Library and the Mitnick Trust of the Avon Library Board of Directors.  All concerts are free. All performances will begin at 7:30 pm, except for the Mon. Oct. 6th performance at 7:00 pm. Patricia Guadagnoli, a 2008 finalist in the Young Artists Piano Competition, will perform.

MONDAY, October 6, 7:00 pm (Please note day and change of time):
The Connecticut Opera Express will return to present a preview of "Don Giovanni," a favorite opera by Mozart and one to be produced by the Connecticut Opera this fall. Resident opera stars will perform arias from this wonderful opera.

Laura Garritson, a popular classical pianist, will return to perform at the Library.

"Have flute, will travel," an interesting and varied program performed by flutists, Minta White and Gonzalo Cortes, and pianist Gabriel Lofvall.
