Around the Library with Dewey! The Seven Hundreds…………..

Dig into the J700s.
(The J stands for Juvenile ~ which means it’s a book for kids)

School is out and the sun is shining.
That means it’s time to go outside and have some fun.
If you’re looking for something fun to do, want to learn a new skill, or want to perfect something you love to do, the 700s are for you.

The 700s have everything you could ever want to know about sports and the arts.  There are books on how to draw, how to make paper airplanes, photography, music, ballet, skateboarding, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, baseball, magic tricks, karate, and so much more.

This section has everything you need to keep you active and enjoying your summer.

Here at the Avon Library we have some cool books in this section.  Some of them are The Kids Campfire Book by Jane Drake and Ann Love, David Beckham’s Soccer Skills by David Beckham, NBA Basketball Basics by Mark Vancil and Magic Handbook by Joe Fullman.  Come find these books to keep you from boredom this week.
