This year, they are focused on giving community members the space and opportunity to share stories regarding their identity to increase greater awareness regarding people’s backgrounds and experiences. Therefore, Meghana used the Council’s work as inspiration for creating this panel series, which aims to inform the greater community on aspects of Indian Americans’ experiences when transitioning to life in America as an immigrant.
