This is a short 45 minute training that is required for all teens who are volunteering to be a Big Buddy for our Spring 2022 Book Buddies Program!

Who can be a Big Buddy? Teens in Grades 7-12.

You will get 1 hour of volunteer time to read with a Little Buddy in Grades K-3 and create a fun art project each week.

Spring Book Buddies will meet 4:30-5:30pm on the first 4 Thursdays in March 2022: 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, and 3/24.

Signing up for the orientation will ALSO sign you up for all 4 days of the Spring 2022 Book Buddies program.

Please check your calendar of activities to make sure you can attend this orientation AND all 4 Thursday in March.

There are limited spots, registration is required.

Children and teens will meet, read, and create art on the 2nd Floor of the Children’s Room.

All patrons age 2 and over are required to wear masks inside the Avon Free Public Library, Avon, CT.
