We get that Finals are almost here and we all know Finals are stressful. 

The Avon Library and Avon Youth Services Bureau partnered to make Calm Kits for teens to help during this time.

 Registration required to get a Calm Kit. Sign up opens immediately, but there is a limited supply of bags available for registration. One bag per teen in Grades 9-12.

*If you miss out on your chance to register for a bag, we will put out a small amount of bags Wed 6/8 in the 2nd Floor Teen Room for teens in Grades 9-12, first come, first served.* There is no registration for the Wed. 6/8 bags.

Teens in Grades 9-12.

When can you pick up the Calm Kit?

Register now and pickup your bag during normal library hours Wed. 6/8 to Sat. 6/11  Any bags not picked up by 5pm Sat 6/11 will be made available first come first serve at 2pm on Mon. 6/13 in the 2nd Floor Teen Room.

Library hours:

Wed. 6/8 open 10-8:30pm

Thurs. 6/9 open 10-8:30pm

Fri 6/10 open 10-5pm

Sat 6/11 open 10-5pm.

Where do you pick up the Calm Kit?

Calm Kits will be behind the 2nd Floor Children’s Desk. Ask a Children’s staff member to help you claim your bag.

Each bag is slightly different. All bags contain:

A stress ball and squishy, study snack and powdered drink mix, coloring sheets, a coloring book, colored pencils, information on mindfulness and handling stress, and many more fun items!
