Do you love playing chess? Are you in grades 2-8?

Chess club meets once a month on Mondays from 6:30-7:30pm.

Come play chess in an informal, fun and relaxed atmosphere!  Players will rotate partners throughout the evening.

*Players are expected to know the basics of chess, including how the pieces move, how castling works, and checkmate.*

Register below for the Monday, April 15 date.  Attendees must register for each date separately.  Thanks!

We will meet in the art studio on the 2nd floor children’s department.  Chess boards are provided by the library.

Registration is required – please register below for each date you plan to attend.

*If you are registered but don’t show up by 6:40pm, your spot will be given away to a child waiting on standby.

*Parents/Guardians must stay on the 2nd floor during the event.

*If you are on the waiting list, we will contact you if a spot opens up.  We ask that people no longer able to attend notify the library at least 24 hours in advance or as soon as possible.
