What is an illuminated letter? It was usually the first letter on a page of hand written books from long ago. They were large and colorful, often accented with gold. The images used to illustrate the letters included animals, plants and mythical creatures.
Deborah Sacks, a local artist, will show how they can use their creativity to create their own illuminated letters in our Art Studio. All materials provided by the Avon Free Public Library.
When: Monday July 18, 6:00-8:00 PM
Location: Art Studio. Sign up required.
