This documentary follows Hatidze, an old woman, who lives in the wild hills of Macedonia. We follow her as she lovingly cares for her hive of bees from which she extracts the golden honey she sells to buy what she needs. Her life is disrupted when neighbors move in and alter the delicate balance of nature. This incredible story features spectacular cinematography and is certain to transport you to an unimaginable world. Shown with subtitles. Not Rated, 1 hour 30 min.
After each film, a discussion will be led by Bob Kagan, Professor of Communication at Central Connecticut State University and the University of Hartford. Snacks to share are appreciated!
