Kids’ Role Playing Games – Library Cats (Grades 4-6)

Thursday, December 19 at 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Table Top Role Playing Games (TTRPG) have gained popularity in recent years. Similar to Dungeons and Dragons, a TTRPG is a collaborative storytelling game where players create and control fictional characters in a developing story. In this Kids’ RPG program, we will play Library Cats!

In our silly TTRPG, we will play as either cats or librarians in an adventure to help patrons and save the library from disaster! Friends in Grades 4-6 who have enjoyed our Kids’ D&D, Reader’s Theater, and LARP programming will love joining the table as their own cat or librarian for a magical library adventure!

When?: Thursday December 19 from 4:30-6:00 PM

Where?: In the White Room on the 2nd Floor

What?: An hour and a half TTRPG program where kids will create a character and play through the adventure as a team! For friends in Grades 4-6.

Why?: Tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) have many benefits to children such learning social and leadership skills, practicing math, gaining confidence in a safe place, and making friends. Plus, you don’t need a reason to have fun!
