Meet author Mary Alice Monroe! Special author visit for middle grade readers!

Celebrate the release of Search for Treasure with the Avon, Farmington, and Simsbury Libraries.

Written together with her longtime colleague Angela May, Mary Alice Monroe’s first book for middle grade readers, The Islanders, is the story of friendships forged in the wild, and what happens when kids unplug and experience nature’s power to heal and unite. We’re celebrating the second book, Search for Treasure. 

Three lucky readers will win a set of these books during the event!

Books will be for sale at this event, including some of Mary Alice’s adult titles. Price will be $15.00 per book. Bring cash, or check payable to “Avon Library”
