Dr. Paramita Dhar returns to the Avon Library (via Zoom) to explain the differences between economic depressions and economic recessions, what they have to do with inflation, put them into historical context, help us understand how we got to where we are now, and answer the age-old question… Should we keep our money under our mattress?

Dr. Dhar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Central Connecticut State University. Her previous programs include The Economy in the Time of a Pandemic and Cryptocurrency 101.
