Spring “Outstanding Film” Series – Paper Clips

Paper Clips, 2004 – This life-affirming documentary follows students from a middle school in Tennessee as they try to grasp the magnitude of the 6 million Jews murdered in the Holocaust. Deciding to collect one paper clip for each victim, their project takes on an international scope and magnificently demonstrates the range of human behavior and emotions. Rated G, 1h 22min.
After the film, a discussion will be led by Bob Kagan, Professor of Communication at Central Connecticut State University and the University of Hartford. Snacks to share are appreciated!
