Summer Chess Classes

Monday, July 15 at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Team DIG USA will be joining us this summer to teach two classes on Monday, July 8 and Monday, July 15.

A coach from Team DIG USA will teach a 30 minute strategy class for kids in grades 2 – 6, followed by 30 minutes of playtime to practice the skills learned with coach guidance.

DIG has helped thousands of kids become stronger chess players while increasing their overall confidence.  DIG USA students develop their ability to think tactically and strategically, expanding their problem-solving skills while having a great time.  The focus of DIG’s lessons is to make chess fun!   To learn more about Team DIG USA, visit their website: https://www.teamdigusa.com/.

*Participants must register for each class separately to secure their spot.  Players are expected to know the basics of chess, including how the pieces move, how castling works, and checkmate.*

Summer chess schedule:

  • Monday, June 24 at 6:30pm: Chess Club (1 hour of play time)
  • Monday, July 1 at 6:30pm: Chess Club (1 hour of play time)

*Parents/Guardians must stay on the 2nd floor during the event.
