Do you love playing chess?  Are you looking to meet other players and expand your chess playing skills? Are you entering grades 2 through 8?

Come play chess in an informal, relaxed atmosphere.  New players are welcome – we will show you the basics of how the pieces move.  Participants will rotate partners throughout the evening.

This summer we will meet from 6:30-7:30pm on the following dates:

• Monday, August 7
• Monday, August 14

We meet on the 2nd floor of the children’s department.  Chess boards are provided by the library.

Please note: In accordance with library policy, no child under age 12 may be left alone in the Library for any reason.  Parents and caregivers must remain on the children’s department floor, within the immediate vicinity of the child.

Registration is required – please register for each date separately.
