Teen volunteer sign up to make cards for senior citizens!

Let’s spread some holiday cheer by making cards for senior citizens!

We will provide some card making supplies for Hanukkah and Christmas cards, but you are also welcome to make cheerful Winter themed cards too.

Who: open to teens in Grades 7-12.

When you can sign up Fri. 11/6-Fri. 11/20 (or until all supplies have been given away) to get a take and make bag to create and then return cards.

What do you have to do?:

  1. Sign up to get a take and make bag of card supplies.
  2. Pick up the bag via curbside pickup table or come to the 2nd Floor Children’s Room during library open appointment hours (call ahead to make appointment, (860) 673-9712 ext 240.
  3. Make cards!
  4. Drop the cards off inside the library (to the 2nd Floor Children’s Department) by Wed. 11/25, end of day.

Bags contain:

Multiple sheets of red & blue card stock, 1 glue stick, 2 metallic Paint Pens, holiday themed stickers. (Scissors not included).

You get to keep any unused supplies!

You bring the creativity!
