The Presidents: an analysis through print and film

2020 is an election year! Let’s talk politics.

Film discussions will be lead by Bob Kagan, professor of Professor of Communication at Central Connecticut State University and the University of Hartford. Bob facilitates the international film series, as well other cinema related programming throughout the year at the Avon Library.

Book discussions will be led by Stephen McGrath, adjunct History Professor at Central Connecticut State University who has led numerous history-focused book discussions at the Avon Library. His most recent history lecture was on Prohibition, as part of the “Deeds Not Words” Suffrage Series. Book discussion titles can be requested at the reference desk.
