We’ll cover customizing your dock and sidebar, taking screenshots and screencasts (video), screen sharing to a remote user and more. We’ll also dive a bit deeper into built-in applications like Preview, Photos, and Time Machine using macOS High Sierra 10.13.6.
Thursday, 8/29/19: Productivity with the iOS
Learn how to use a combination of built-in applications for productivity on the iOS. We’ll cover using combinations for different scenarios: Calendar, Clock, Reminders, Notes, Safari, Photos, Camera, Numbers, Pages & Keynote. We’ll focus on organization, planning, sharing and documenting.

Work with a Mac consultant to learn how to use Apple’s built-in tools for data backup & recovery for your Mac & iPhone or iPad. Learn how to:
‣ Devise a backup strategy for your device(s)
‣ Determine what kind of strategy is best for you (online v. USB v. Time Capsule)
‣ Restore files from a backup

Bring your nagging questions! This open forum is all about you…the end user. We’ll try to answer as many questions as you’ve got about your Mac. Feel free to bring a list of questions and your Mac, iPhone or iPad.
PLEASE bring your own device to class. Arrive early so that you can log on to the library’s wi-fi and get your device active!
