Virtual Fall Film Discussions: Four Films, Four Decades

An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until Wednesday, October 14, 2020
All films are available for checkout at the library, or for home viewing on Amazon Prime.
Discussions will take place on Zoom at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays, 9/23-10/14.
Communication Professor Bob Kagan, of CCSU and University of Hartford, will lead these discussions.

In the Bedroom, 2001, Available from the library, and on Amazon Prime
Based on a novel by Andre Dubos, this family drama, in the words of Roger Ebert, “Involves love and violence, and even some thriller elements, but it is not about those things. It is about two people so trapped in opposition that one of them must break.” Superb performances by Sissy Spacek and Tom Wilkinson makes this one of the best films of 2001.
