Wills and Decedents Estates –Introduction to Probate Part One 

Presented by  Judge of Probate Cynthia Becker

Judge Becker will discuss what a Last Will and Testament is, and the probate process when someone dies with or without a Will.  Probate refers to the general administering of a deceased person’s estate.

Advance Directives and Conservatorship  – Introduction to Probate Part Two –

What are Advance Directives, (Living Will, Power of Atty. for Health Care) and why are they important to put in place now.

Conservatorship – learn about what it is, and why it may come into play in the future.

About the presenter:

Cynthia Becker is a graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and the University of Connecticut School of Law. She has been a resident of Connecticut for 36 years and a Probate and Estate attorney for almost as long. Becker serves as the Judge of Probate for the towns of Avon, Canton, Granby and Simsbury.
