How can you get access to book talk books?
Curbside pickupYou can request library items for contact-free curbside pickup.Option 1: Call the Library at 860-673-9712 to request/place holds on items. Once items are ready, you can call the Library to schedule an appointment for pickup.Option 2: Place a hold! Place your own holds from home in the Library Catalog. Once the items are ready, you will be notified, and you can call the Library to schedule an appointment for pickup.

Free Virtual College Entrance Exam Practice Test! The Avon Free Public Library is partnering with C2 Education to offer free, full-length, virtual practice tests for the ACT/SAT/PSAT for local students. This program is for teens in Grades 8-12. We will offer this program twice a month, Friday: 10/30, 11/6, 11/20, 12/4, 12/18 Sign up required. Please register by Thursday 6pm, the day before the test.
