Fall 2024 Opportunities:

  • Picture Book Shelving (Grades 7 – 12)

A chill way to volunteer independently and get your hours afterschool is to help shelve children’s picture books and DVDs. One 45 minute orientation training is needed for volunteers who have not shelved picture books at the Avon Free Public Library before. After the orientation, you choose 1 day of the week to come in and shelve for 1 hour while the library is open.

Fall 2024 available days of the week: Wednesday

Email Stephanie and Marisa to inquiry if picture book shelving days are available  ssmith.afpl@libraryconnection.info      mhicking@libraryconnection.info
