DUE to widespread power outages the new date for Friday Trivia is Friday 8/14, 3-4 PM. 

All registrants have been notified 8/7 about this date change.

This month’s theme will be: Random Fandom Trivia

Question categories will be:

Marvel movies, DC movies, Pixar movies, Disney movies, TV Cartoons, and a totally random category.

Open to teens entering Grades 7-12 in Fall 2020.

This meeting will be held via Zoom.

Registered teens will get a link to the Zoom meeting the morning of August 14th.

Virtual Teen Writer’s Block: HARRY POTTER Edition

Open to teens entering Grades 7-12  in Fall 2020 (and Class of 2020 graduated seniors).

This meeting will be held via Google Meet.

This program is perfect if you like to laugh, write, and love the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

This time, we will use a flash fiction game to help give you ideas for what to write about.

This group is for teen writers looking to find other teens with the same interest. Juliana Spink Mills, a wonderfully talented  local science-fiction and fantasy author runs this group.

Read An Unofficial Harry Potter Fan’s Cookbook by Aurelia Beaupommier, pick out a recipe, and make it and then join us to show off your creation.

The cookbook ebook is available for free from Hoopla with your Avon Library card! If you can’t get your hands on the cookbook, make a Harry Potter related recipe of your choosing.
