Caregiving is a multifaceted and intermingled experience which requires compassion, understanding, comprehension, emphasis, and purposeful support. Caring for yourself is one of the most important-and one of the most often forgotten-things you can do as a caregiver. When your needs are taken care of, the person you care for will benefit, too. We will explore a Person-Centered Approach, Strengths Based Approach and Perspective to championing, encouraging, and bolstering our caregivers. Everyone has value and worth and it is necessary to reinforce and remind caregivers of their purpose, dedication, talents, skills and gifts.
