Join us for an in-person author panel featuring Avon writers, who will be discussing changes in publishing over the last ten years. They’ll discuss their books, their writing experience, and what they’ve learned from their travels through traditional and self-publishing.  This is part of our 10th anniversary celebration for our Local Author Festival. 

Lynn Katz is a former teacher, curriculum writer, and school principal with a soft spot in her heart for toothless, rescue dogs and public libraries. Her debut novel, The Surrogate, was published with Black Rose Writing in May 2021, and her middle-grade novel, Chester and the Magic 8 Ball, was published in February 2023 and has received a Kirkus Review (starred review.) Marilyn Simon Rothstein, a novelist, is the author of Crazy to Leave You, Husbands and Other Sharp Objects, Lift and Separate—and coming in late October 2024, Who Loves You Best. She’s lived in Avon with her family for over 40 years but claims she’s only 30-years-old.

Terry Walters is a highly sought-after educator, consultant, and speaker, and has been teaching plant-based cooking and wellness to audiences all over the world for over twenty years.
