IRIS stands for Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services.

IRIS’ mission is to empower refugees and immigrants to become self-sufficient and integrated into their new communities. At the same time, newcomers enrich our communities, making this a better place for all of us.

We will have a special visitor, Hossna Samadi, Outreach Coordinator for IRIS, to come speak to us about the efforts and stories of the IRIS program, and about the purpose of the cards.
Teens will get hands on card making volunteer time and get to socialize with each other.
