Executive Functioning 101 For Parents: What it is & how to support your child

Parents and teens are welcomed to join us in for Executive Functioning 101. This session will be led by Kathleen Webb (PsyD) and Deanne Anderson (MS, OT/L) who will discuss what is executive functioning and how to support your child.

What you will learn in this session:

  • The 11 key parts (such as organizing, planning, time mgt, attention, task initiation)
  • What is expected as pre-teens develop skills
  • Practical applications for EF skill development
  • Understanding your role as a parent
  • What you can do to set your child up for success

This is a collaborative effort brought to you by the Avon Free Public Library, Avon Youth Services and Greater Hartford Wellness
