Location: 1st Floor Community Room

The program is best for ages 3 and up (pre-k and elementary-aged children).

At least 1 adult guardian is expected to stay in the Community Room with the child(ren) during the program.

When registering, please register once per family, and let us know how many children (and their ages) will be attending, as well as how many adults will be attending.

What will happen at this library program?

• Hear the story of “The Fantastic Toyshop” ballet.
• Watch demonstrations of dances from the New England Ballet Theatre show.
• Kids can participate in a short dance class led by a ballerina.
• Followed by a meet & greet and photo op with the ballerina.

New England Ballet Theatre is excited to announce their fourth annual production of “The Fantastic Toyshop,” a holiday ballet created specifically for the Greater Hartford community.

Inspired by Léonide Massine’s 1919 ballet “La Boutique Fantasque,” the performance includes special nods to the city and people of Hartford.  This show is pure holiday magic, and fun for all ages.
