An interactive learning opportunity led by Clare McCarthy of Transqat, highlighting historic women of the LGBTQ+ community.

Be ready for kahoot trivia, so bring a smartphone or device with Wi-Fi or cellular data. (A device is not required. Folks can participate tech-free but won’t have scores for their trivia answers.)

 

About Clare McCarthy

Clare McCarthy is an educator, transgender advocate, and producer/host of Transqat the Podcast. Transqat (pronounced “trans-kat”) is a safe space for respectful conversations about trans issues and queer people. A former Latin teacher, she is experienced with making complex subject matter accessible and understandable. Clare shares a house in East Haddam with four cats, although they see it the other way around.
