The Friends of the Avon Free Public Library is “Celebrating 75 Years for Friendship” with a display in the Marion Hunter Local History Room at the Library.

Come in and take a look what the Friends have done in the past:
From 11 members in December 1950 who decided to create a Friends of the Avon Free Public Library to our present membership of 643, The Friends of Avon Library’s Mission is to support the Avon Free Public Library with both funds and volunteers. We promote the extension of library facilities by securing materials beyond the ordinary library budget. We also enrich the library experience by sponsoring library programs and activities through financial support.
The display will be up until February 25, 2026.
We hope you stop in and take a look and our membership drive is currently underway! Membership forms are available at the library and here on the website Friends of the Avon Library – Avon Free Public Library
