Inspired by the art of Vasily Kandinsky, we will paint to music!
Kandinsky, born in Russia in 1866, believed that color could express feelings just as music does. He experienced colors as sounds, and sounds as colors throughout his life. He quickly became a pioneer of abstract art. Come learn a little bit about Kandinsky’s art and then experiment with shapes, lines and colors as we paint what we hear, using it to inspire our artwork.
