Open to kids entering Grades 3-6
This 3-day program is meant for kids with little to no background in Scratch and coding. It is not meant for intermediate or advanced users.
Registration required. *This program has limited space available* Please only sign up if you can attend all 3 days.
Attendees & their guardians will be asked to sign an image release form before the program begins & to complete a survey post program.
Location: 1st Floor Computer Lab, Avon Free Public Library
Kids will:
- Understand coding concepts such as movement, collisions, and game-over logic.
- Create a simple interactive game in Scratch
- Build confidence with technology
This program will lead by Isaac Shobola, a rising Senior at Deerfield Academy and resident of Avon, CT; Avon Library staff will help support this program.
