Originally from Uzbekistan, Tamila has performed as a piano soloist and chamber musician in the US, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Israel, Czech Republic and Kazakhstan. She has been a guest soloist with several orchestras including the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. Donbing Shin, violin, is a concert soloist. Program: A journey through 19th and early 20th Century Eastern European tradition from Glinka-Balakirev to Rachmaninov &Tchaikovsky to Swan Lake.
The concerts take place in the library’s Community Room. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis with a space limit of 150 seats (per fire code). Free tickets are available at the door starting at 2:15 pm. Doors open at 2:30 pm. Concerts are from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
