Welcome to A Magician’s Familiar, a magical tabletop for talented performers and the newest adventure from Avon Free Public Library’s Tabletop Role-Playing Game Club! In this adventure, you play as a group of young magicians and their familiars, navigating their way through a new world with only luck, magic, and friendship to guide you.
A Magician’s Familiar is a game concocted in the spirit of Pokemon and old-school card tricks, and relies on players to perform magical tricks and work in harmony with each other and their familiars. This game, unlike our usual fare, will be conducted with decks of playing cards! This is a game of imagination, teamwork, and fun catered to grades four to six (ages nine and up)! A TTRPG is a game for anyone to play, where we disengage from our screens and together write a story with fictional characters. Many people turn their TTRPG into a story of their own.
