Understanding Autism & Neurodiversity: A Presentation for Kids
This engaging and age-appropriate program introduces children to Autism and Neurodiversity in a thoughtful and inspiring way. Through learning about Autism, kids discover what it means to be a true friend—even when people experience the world differently.
The program aims to spark curiosity about what makes each of us unique and foster understanding and respect between neurotypical and neurodivergent children.
Through open conversation and reflection, this program helps children and caregivers:

About the Presenter
Jeremy K. Farrell is a passionate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Advocate and a proud autistic self-advocate. He has worked with children with developmental disabilities since the age of 15 and has dedicated his career to promoting inclusion, understanding, and empowerment.
Jeremy has led social skills groups for kids and teens, worked in autism research at Yale’s Child Study Center, and consulted with organizations to improve accessibility and awareness. He also serves on the Board of Directors for A Little Compassion Inc./The Nest and currently works as a Certified Job and Life Skills Coach for autistic adults.
Today, Jeremy travels across Connecticut presenting on a variety of topics related to Autism and Neurodiversity, helping communities grow more inclusive and understanding every day.
