This festival, a tradition since Summer 2014, has featured writers from New England and the tri-state area who share their work, inspiration, and ideas with our audience. Throughout the pandemic we have invited Kirstin Harmel, Spencer Quinn, Gail Tsukiyama, Kristy Harvey, and Bill Hayes virtually into our living rooms! Previous summers have included the talents of Liv Constantine, Ann Leary, Matthew Dicks, Kristan Higgins, James Frey, Adriana Trigiani, Archer Mayor, Marilyn Simon Rothstein, B.A. Shapiro, and Andrea Bartz.
In 2026, we’ll be hosting Cozy Con with Kensington Books, and the Friends will be hosting author Marie Benedict, Amity Gaige, and Christina Baker Kline. Details on all three events are available on the Friends part of our website.
In 2025, we welcomed authors with books connected to America’s 250th.
Summer 2024 focused on the 10th anniversary of our Local Author Festival with Ten Events to Celebrate Ten Years of Local Authors.
We host authors year-round, so join us for these events:
