Get a Library Card
Eligibility:
All residents of Avon, Connecticut
You will need:
- a completed enrollment form
- a photo ID
- proof of Avon residency
In person:
Come to the Circulation Desk to sign up in person.
Online:
Complete the enrollment form below. You can normally expect a response within 48 hours. To renew an existing card, please visit the library with your previous card, if you have it, and ID showing your current address.
Note: signing up online will give you access to the Library’s downloadable and streaming collections as well as online research databases. You will need to show your photo ID and proof of residency the first time you check out books and other physical items at the library.
Overdue and Lost items
We do not charge fines for most overdue materials.
Borrowers are responsible for the replacement cost of lost or damaged items. Replacement copies of the items will not be accepted.
