About the artist: American artist Don Bonner grew up inspired by the picturesque surroundings of his hometown in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. He lives in Avon, Connecticut near where his family roots go back to early settlements. He attended the Paier School of Art outside New Haven. Don continued with a career in commercial design, creating materials for many Fortune 500 companies. He went on to start and run his own business for 25 years, Bonner & Company Creative Communications. Don has continued to create imagery as a painter. He is passionate about telling a story on canvas, and creating it with color, lighting, and emotion. Don’s studio is in Avon, Connecticut.

We will meet IN PERSON AT THE LIBRARY from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the following dates:
Dates: All dates will be on Thursdays, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9
Registration required, space is limited.
Signing up for Thurs. 10/19 signs you up for ALL 4 days.
Due to high demand, please sign up only if your child can attend all 4 sessions.
Children will be paired up with a teen Big Buddy to read with and be read to.
We will end all our sessions with a fun (slightly) messy art activity that the teens and children complete together.
