Join us for a special presentation by Horizon Wings! The will bring an owl, hawk, falcon, and perhaps even a raven!
All of the program birds at Horizon Wings are unable to survive in the wild, but have overcome their individual challenges and have learned to adapt to their new lives as feathered ambassadors. Be inspired by their individual stories of survival, explore fascinating facts about each species, and learn what you can do to help them.
Horizon Wings was formed in 2001 by Mary-Beth Kaeser as a 501C3 non-profit Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. They specialize in Birds of Prey, and are located in Ashford, CT. Horizon Wings has several raptors that cannot be released back into the wild due to their injuries. Fortunately they are able to keep these birds at their center and, with a special permit, use them for educational programs. Learn more about Horizon Wings rehab work here.
Best for ages 5 and up. Drop-in, registration not required.
