Sign Like a Founder

Open to kids entering Grades K-6.
Registration required.

Location: Main Floor of the 2nd Floor Kids Department

This program will be put on by Jennifer Schloat, local History & Literature Teacher & Avon Historical Society Member.

At this hands-on history event, each child will:
–          learn about the founding of the United States of America
–          be invited to add their signature to a life-size Declaration of Independence, just like the original Connecticut representatives!
–          take home a special keepsake copy of the document

This program is a partnership with the Avon Historical Society and the Avon Free Public Library.
