Using a natural berry called the Miracle Berry, we will flip our taste buds around to make sour things sweet and sweet things even sweeter! Come try a plethora of snacks and see how familiar, favorite foods can take on new flavors.
What is Frooties (and what is Miracle Fruit)?
Synsepalum dulcificum is a plant (bush), native to West Africa. Miracle Fruit berries cause sour and bitter foods, such as lemons and rhubarb, to taste sweet. Within the miracle berry is a protein called miraculin that binds to your tastebuds, triggering your sweet receptors when introduced to acidic foods.
