Join olive oil sommelier Tassos C. Kyriakides, PhD for an engaging and informative exploration of one of the world’s most treasured foods-olive oil! Discover the health benefits, tastes, and cultural heritage of olive oil. Valued for its flavor, versatility and connection to Mediterranean culture for thousands of years—it is so much more than a cooking oil!
The taste of virgin olive oil varies depending on the variety of the olive, harvest timing, production methods and other factors. Some olive oils are soft and buttery. Others are grassy, peppery, and robust. We will have samples for you to taste.
