The format is:
6:30-7:00: mix and mingle with the authors/browse and buy books
7:00: Audience grab a seat for round-robin style author sharing; learn something about each of them! Librarians Cyndi and Tina will serve as hosts.
8:00 (ish): mix and mingle again/browse and buy books
Our 2025 authors are:
Peggy Adler, Pallenberg Wonder Bears – From the Beginning. Biography of Emil Pallenberg, who from 1915 thru at least 1939, headlined with Ringling owned circuses with his bicycle riding, roller skating, acrobatic bears.
T.J. Banks, Moonlight & Grace. An artist inherits her godmother’s house, only to find out that it comes with at least one ghost and a telepathic Lilac Abyssinian cat.
Peter Markham, Savage Wilderness. A historical fiction featuring werewolves and the Blackfoot.
Wendy Haller, The Flannigan Girls. A sister story/family drama that draws on the sisterly bond that can be stretched apart by life and distance, but never broken.
Dr. Kevin McGarry. Lead with Purpose: A Story About Leading in Your Personal and Professional Life. A leadership fable about a corporate executive who discovers the power of purpose-driven leadership while guiding his team at work and coaching his daughter’s softball team.
Rick Paiva, Loincloth: Murder by Media. A high-profile media executive is found dead in S.F. wearing only shredded rags, creating painful questions for his family and employer, while fueling a national firestorm of negative media speculation.
Andrea Steele, SAVED: Equine Rescues of Connecticut. As seasoned Connecticut horsewomen, photographer Sarah Grote and author Andrea Steele bring awareness to how equines come to be at risk, and introduce you to the Connecticut people who work tirelessly to rebuild the lives of these animals.
