July 30 – The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo, 2011. Directed by David Fincher and based on the Stieg Larsson novel, this film follows a journalist and an unorthodox computer hacker trying to crack a 40 year old murder case. August 6 – I’m Still Here, 2024. Directed by Walter Salles. Fernanda Torres gives a dynamic performance searching for her husband who in 1970 “disappeared” under the military dictatorship in Brazil.
