Devon Delaney is the author of the cooking competition cozy murder mystery series. She is also a wife, mother of three, grandma to four, accomplished cooking contester, sometimes empty nester, and lifelong resident of the Northeast. She has been handsomely rewarded for her recipe innovation over the last twenty-plus years, including a full kitchen of major appliances, substantial cash prizes, and four trips to Disney World. She has also won the grand prize in a national writing contest for her “foodie” poem, “Ode to Pork Passion.” She began writing cozy mysteries when she relocated to Connecticut and saw the opportunity for a career change from teaching Lego Robotics and computer education to becoming an a published author.
Glen Ebisch, a former philosophy professor, has been writing mystery novels for over thirty-five years and has had many books published across several different series. His books are generally edgy cozies that feature thought-provoking plots, complex relationships, and a large element of humor. The current series that he is working on is the Max Moran Mystery series, published by Smith and Kraus, and the self-published Madison Revere, Charles Bentley, and Clarissa Abbot series.
Kathleen Marple Kalb aka Nikki Knight, is an anchor/author/mom…not in that order. The Agatha-nominated author of short stories and more than a dozen novels, she’s also a longtime weekend anchor at New York’s 1010 WINS Radio. Her book series include the Vermont Radio, Grace the Hit Mom, Old Stuff, and Ella Shane Mysteries. Active in writers’ groups, she’s currently a Marketing and Communications Liaison on the National Board of Sisters in Crime, and a past VP of the Short Mystery Fiction Society and NY/Tri-State SinC. She and her family live in a Connecticut house owned by a large calico cat.
Chris Knopf has published 18 mystery/thriller novels. Blood Bank was released in December 2024, about which Kirkus wrote: “Fans of the series will enjoy its usual low-key pleasures, capped by a nifty climactic surprise.” Two Time was one of thirteen mysteries listed in Marilyn Stasio’s “Recommended Summer Reading” column in The New York Times Book Review. Head Wounds was cited as a best mystery of the year by Mysterious Reviews and Deadly Pleasures, receiving the Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Mystery. Dead Anyway received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly, Booklist, Kirkus and Library Journal, also a Boston Globe Best Crime Novel, and winning the Nero Award. Representative short stories: What Made Sammy Run was published this fall in New England’s Best Mystery Short Stories. Kill Switch was short-listed for the Derringer Award. The Best is Yet to Come appeared in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine. A Little Cariñoso appeared in Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine. Crossing Harry was included in Akashic’s New Haven Noir.
