What if the most fascinating wildlife in New England isn’t far away in the wilderness—but right outside your window? Join wildlife ecologist and nature author Brad Timm for a lively, eye-opening presentation that will forever change how you see the natural world around you. You’ll discover surprising secrets about the animals you thought you knew all about:
• Blue Jays aren’t actually blue
• Some foxes climb trees
• Hummingbirds can beat their wings up to 200 times per second
• And many more unbelievable facts hiding in plain sight
Through stunning photos, engaging videos, and captivating stories from his book Wildlife Out Your Window, Brad brings common backyard species to life in ways that are fun, memorable, and often surprising. But this isn’t just about cool facts—you’ll also walk away with simple, practical ways you can help wildlife right where you live, whether you have a backyard, balcony, or just a view out your window. Perfect for curious minds of all ages, this interactive program invites questions, sparks conversation, and will leave you looking at everyday nature with fresh eyes.
